Don't Delay

So many children fell asleep today.

I wonder while they lived, if they invited you to stay.

Because ashes to ashes, dust to dust.

One day if they didn't, then hell is a must.

So many crying, so much sorrow and despair.

For those who are lost, and moving forward,

filled with fear.

The choices in life, as you open each door.

Might be your forever, in what you fought for.

How precious are the voices, who come bearing gifts.

With words filled with wisdom, to rejoice and to lift.

For you to decide, is your God given right.

But know that with care, there be light or great fright.

Do not think to laugh today.

And forsake God, while you dance and play.

For with your portion, you will go.

Where fire burns, deep down below.

Build your house on bricks of clay.

And till your soil, and don't delay.

Sow to go, where green grass grows.

Where angels sing, while the trumpet blows.
