Merry Well
Carry me away from this world of hurt and despair, like a fleet of ships sailing upon waters far to know. Beyond the crystal river, by your side I long to stand. Let me see the sparkles of the twinkling lights in heaven, as I gracefully move with steps ordained by only YOU.
Take me to a place where no more tears be shed. That my eyes may not cry nor my heart ever break. Till the memory of earth once bestowed inside my soul, slip away. And the fears of my journey cross I bear. Keep the cares of my worth beyond shadows stored in groves. Harnessed threads, thistles towed, all to know where my SAVIOUR goes.
Far away might I see, all the treasures kept for me. Made by hands that were told so to do. Merry well oh my soul. Come to me, my travelling doe. I have done that which I was sent to do. Fare thee well, may perhaps, what you lack,
to you be filled. Carry me. Carry me. Till eternity rings. On toward my pure faith, evermore oh God I trust. I have lived. I have loved. I have been through it all. Now here today, as I stand, may you remember who I am. I was yours. I am yours. I will forever be only yours.
