I Close My Eyes

 I close my eyes.

And I see yesterday.

When everything seemed so right.

How you touched my heart.

And held me in your arms.

So sweet and so calm.


How beautiful the memory of.

Smiling faces and mystic moments.

When gathering of family.

Were


moments to explore.

The smell of firesides.

Sent sparks up to the sky.


I close my eyes.

Though tears they fall.

As I remember days gone by.

When children played.

And laughter heard.

The songs of long ago.


Where do broken hearts all go?

Can you tell?

Do you know?

It's been so long since you've been gone.

That I don't even know.


The pieces of my shattered heart.

Are scattered near and far apart.

How I wish the wind would blow.

And bring the pieces all aglow.


Can you, my love, find your way? 

To take the path, to home and stay?

So my broken heart can tell a tale.

Of love's great journey.

That just won't fail.

A Prayer For You

 Father, tonight, I lift up your sons and your daughters, in the east.. in the west.. in the north and in the south, in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, I pray for your touch. I pray for your joy. I pray for your peace. Let your bowels of mercy fall abundantly upon every one of them. Father, intervene in every situation and let the Holy Spirit move like a raging, rushing wind in their midst. Let them be consumed by the Blood of Jesus, in every area of their lives. Heavenly Father, cover them with your precious blood.. Clothe them with your armour and shield them from danger with your Spirit, in Jesus name. Lord, I speak total healing, upon their body.. their mind.. their heart and their spirit. Assign angels to guard them from every side. Penetrate every mountain, that stands in their way.. and deliver them from every spirit of bondage, in Jesus name. Lord, strengthen those who are weak. I say I love you, but my words do not.. I shout with glee, like a shining pot. My eyes grow dim, to the sights I see.. For my actions speaks louder, than who I was born to be. Like a tinkling symbol, I make much noise.. To be seen and heard, so I can rejoice. From the rising of the sun, till it sets in the west.. I loose the chance, to win each test. Often I would say, I am a child of God.. Howbeit my senses, are ruled by discord. Like a slave in captivity, I am bound in chains.. For the pride in my heart, is a block to my stains.
