I Am From Above

You think that you are good. But you are like the fox in the desert. You do not seek my yearning or fill my hunger.... for what is just. You are lusting for fame and recognition and wander to and fro, in your own desires.

Why do you not build a hedge around me or go up in the gaps? How am I supposed to defend myself, when I am made to stand all alone? Your words are lies, shot forth from arrows. To cut asunder, every act of brotherly love. You try to attract others. To captivate and inspire their trust, in activating what you have marked, for your own gain.

Your vision is consumed with vain sightings. What you do, is not meant for good. You laugh, when you should cry. You walk, when you should run. You stop, when you should go. Your company is without shame or compassion. In your lust

for elevated status, you seek to destroy the good that surrounds you.

Where is the love? Where is the heart that is supposedly filled with kindness and compassion for me? I look, but it is not seen. My heart is thirsty, in this dry and desert wilderness..... because of you. Because of you.

Fly away, oh bird of the carcass. Flee away from me, as quickly as you can. Let me know you not, any longer. Break the chain and cut the ties, that has me bound. For from today, I am not your own. You are not my own. We are not alike. You are dead to me.

You are from beneath.

I am from above.
