Deep Valleys

 I remembered you today.

I remembered your smile and your presence as I walked by your side.

The way you held my hand and how you taught me to stand.


My purpose being fulfilled, is being the woman you taught me to be.

With words you inspired and strengthened me when I needed inner comfort and encouragement to go on. 

All that I am today, is because of you. 

You have been faithful.

You have been kind.

You have sown seeds that grew into trees, bearing fruits to make a difference in others.


My thoughts of you have kept me from running into nothing.

My fears are no


longer my covering in the darkness.

The lessons you have taught me are what gives me my ambition.

I know that you are always with me wheresoever I go, because your love is wrapped up inside my heart.

You live as a constant presence of hope to me.

I know time carries us through mountain tops and deep valleys.

But because of you, I have faith in all things.

You are my inner being shining through as I travel through life's journey.

A Prayer For You

 Father, tonight, I lift up your sons and your daughters, in the east.. in the west.. in the north and in the south, in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, I pray for your touch. I pray for your joy. I pray for your peace. Let your bowels of mercy fall abundantly upon every one of them. Father, intervene in every situation and let the Holy Spirit move like a raging, rushing wind in their midst. Let them be consumed by the Blood of Jesus, in every area of their lives. Heavenly Father, cover them with your precious blood.. Clothe them with your armour and shield them from danger with your Spirit, in Jesus name. Lord, I speak total healing, upon their body.. their mind.. their heart and their spirit. Assign angels to guard them from every side. Penetrate every mountain, that stands in their way.. and deliver them from every spirit of bondage, in Jesus name. Lord, strengthen those who are weak. I say I love you, but my words do not.. I shout with glee, like a shining pot. My eyes grow dim, to the sights I see.. For my actions speaks louder, than who I was born to be. Like a tinkling symbol, I make much noise.. To be seen and heard, so I can rejoice. From the rising of the sun, till it sets in the west.. I loose the chance, to win each test. Often I would say, I am a child of God.. Howbeit my senses, are ruled by discord. Like a slave in captivity, I am bound in chains.. For the pride in my heart, is a block to my stains. I am my own weapon, that is fighting against me.. Consumed and conformed, to the crushing to be free. I speak to the wind, like a babbling fool.. For the mote in my eye, is the devil's own tool.
