A Fine Tooth Comb
You are the air I breathe everyday.
You are the one, who plant my feet on a rock to stay.
You are the apple of my eye.
And I look forward to the day I meet you in the sky.
You are my strength when I am weak.
Your face everyday, is what I seek.
If I have everything, but do not have you Lord.
My eternal home in hell will be my reward.
You are more precious than silver and gold.
And in your hands, my heart you hold.
To know that on the cross, you died for me.
Is more than enough, to set me
free.
I love you more than the sand by the sea.
And with you on my side, the devil must flee.
Come laughter or sorrow or joy to behold.
I surrender to you Lord, my body and soul.
One day you will call and I will go home.
And you oh Lord will judge me, with a fine tooth comb.
For the life that I lived and the choices I made.
To determine if I, was worth the price you paid.
