Acknowledge The Lord

As a parent, when you see your children making choices that you know would be detrimental for them... all you want to do is put a stop to it... All you want to do is say NO... DON'T DO IT. ... 
You see beyond what they see. You know more than they know. You want to protect them and keep them safe from potential harm and danger. 

From the time I was a little girl, till the day the  Lord called my parents home, I would always hear them say.... What a child has in their head, WE have already walked upon.... So when they said something to me or to my brothers and sister, they spoke from experience... They spoke from their hearts. They spoke from... falling down and getting back up. They did not want us to go through the same things they did, because they knew we would be hurt. They wanted better for us. They wanted a better life for us. 

Sometimes, we see our children choosing a certain path. A path filled with potholes and obstacles and tears. Those choices and decisions at times brings regret... sadness... frustration... pain. 
As much as we would love more than anything, to take the hurt away...  They need to understand that they must live with the choices they make. Whether good or bad. We cannot always be their shield. We cannot always block the path that they have mapped out for themselves... BUT we can commit them into the hands of the Lord.

It has been well said, in days of old, that in everything there is a season. There is a now. There is a suddenly. And there is Tomorrow. In everything we presume to think or do, let us be mindful that there are long term repercussions in the choices we make today. Ultimately, those choices will make us or it will break us. 

Let us learn to seek Godly counsel in every decision. Never choose to go... where you are not sent,

by God. Because when you GO, you go on your own. But when you are SENT, the Lord goes before you and HE prepares the way for you. ..  So choose wisely. Think twice and act once... And learn to not lean on your own understanding. But in ALL your ways, acknowledge the Lord. And HE will direct your path.

A Good Soldier

 Oh Lord, remind me that I am living in the good land. The land of promise. The land of opportunity. The land of life and abundance. Heavenly Father, I pray that the power of your presence inside me, is greater than every pressure of life. Jesus, you brought me out of the iron furnace.. out of Egypt, to inherit what you have set before me to receive. Remind me everyday, to stir up the gift of God that is in me, for you have not given me a spirit of fear. Oh Lord, when I am afflicted, then I know that I am a partaker of the gospel, according to the power of God. A Prayer For You

 Father, tonight, I lift up your sons and your daughters, in the east.. in the west.. in the north and in the south, in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, I pray for your touch. I pray for your joy. I pray for your peace. Let your bowels of mercy fall abundantly upon every one of them. Father, intervene in every situation and let the Holy Spirit move like a raging, rushing wind in their midst. Let them be consumed by the Blood of Jesus, in every area of their lives. Heavenly Father, cover them with your precious blood..
